Toronto's Spanish Group“ I don't think they should join this group. Given the circumstances of my first time with this group, I don't recommend it. The organizer did not seem to care about bringing people together at all. I also think that the way he ran around the table with a piggy bank for everyone's $3 fee (theft) was tacky. I was insulted that night but decided to wait and see if he'd email me and apologize for my not getting into the movie, especially since I had expressed my concerns 15 minutes before to him. I've heard nothing and have no interest in this group. Also, the movie we were to see was part of Eurofest and was free to the public. I overheard one member ask the organizer how much the movie would cost, and he told him it was "taken care of". All I will say about his response is that it was misleading. ”

“ Nice people with all levels of Spanish, very friendly and easy to talk to. Beginners can just listen to others talk and many native speakers are glad to help with pronunciation, etc and even do corrections if asked. Some people save notes of new words and meanings. It helps to be very open. ”
